Jess and I recently attended the Orange launch of The Art of Pasta by Lucio Galletto and it was such a beautiful evening I thought I'd share it with you. Held at Racine Restaurant @ La Colline, and hosted by Boomers Bookshop, Lucio and his wife Sally were warmly welcomed by an intimate group keen to discover the art of pasta making.
Every week or so I find myself wandering around our store, market basket in hand, picking up my cooking essentials so I thought I would share my must-haves from the shop with you. I'd love to hear about what your essential ingredients are when you come in as well.
We are probably all guilty of it (I know I used to be). That is, buying imported olive oil or using olive oil that I have had in the cupboard since the dawn of time. The fact is, however, that just like fruit, vegetables or nuts, the fresher your olive oil, the better!
